Annunciation Panels are dedicated alarm monitoring and indication modules installed in electrical substations and industrial power systems to provide operators with immediate visual and audible notification of abnormal operating conditions, equipment faults, and system alarms. These panels incorporate a comprehensive array of illuminated annunciator windows, audio alarm buzzers, acknowledge and reset push buttons, flasher units, sequence of events (SOE) recorders, auxiliary relays, and terminal blocks ? all integrated within a robust CRCA sheet steel enclosure conforming to IP42 or higher protection standards. Each annunciator window is individually labelled with a specific alarm description and illuminates with a distinct flashing indication upon receipt of a fault or alarm signal from field-mounted sensors, protection relays, or equipment auxiliary contacts, immediately alerting control room operators to the nature and location of the abnormality. The built-in alarm sequence logic follows a standard first-up annunciation protocol ? flashing on new alarm initiation, steady on acknowledgement, and extinguishing upon fault clearance ? ensuring clear differentiation between active, acknowledged, and cleared alarm states. Integrated sequence of events recorders with millisecond time-stamping capability enable accurate post-fault analysis and root cause investigation. Annunciation Panels monitor a wide range of alarm conditions including transformer Buchholz trips, winding temperature alarms, circuit breaker trip failures, low DC supply voltage, battery charger faults, protection relay malfunctions, and switchgear abnormalities. Communication interfaces supporting Modbus RTU, DNP3, and IEC 61850 protocols facilitate seamless SCADA and DCS integration for centralised alarm management and remote monitoring. Designed and tested in accordance with IEC 61439 standards, Annunciation Panels are extensively deployed across 11 kV to 220 kV substations in power utilities, industrial facilities, captive power plants, and renewable energy installations, serving as the primary operator alerting system for maintaining safe and reliable substation operations
