Feeder Protection Panels are dedicated protection and control modules installed in electrical substations to monitor, protect, and manage outgoing or incoming feeder circuits in medium and high voltage power distribution networks. These panels incorporate numerical microprocessor-based protective relays, current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs), circuit breaker control switches, trip and close coils, indication lamps, annunciator windows, and metering instruments  all housed within a robust CRCA sheet steel enclosure conforming to IP42 protection standards. The integrated protection relays continuously supervise feeder parameters and provide comprehensive protection functions including overcurrent (50/51), earth fault (50N/51N), directional overcurrent, auto-reclosure, and under-frequency protection as per ANSI/IEEE relay numbering standards. Communication interfaces supporting IEC 61850 GOOSE messaging, Modbus, and DNP3 protocols enable seamless SCADA integration for real-time telemetry, remote tripping, and event recording. Designed and type-tested in accordance with IEC 60255 and IEC 61439 standards, Feeder Protection Panels ensure fast, selective, and reliable fault isolation, minimising outage duration and preventing equipment damage.
